One of the industry’s celebrated digital marketing chiefs says using his company’s own data about consumer behavior will become key to future campaign management.<\/p>\n
“Data will become more and more important to every single piece of media that we buy,”\u00a0Mondel\u0113z International global media and consumer engagement VP B. Bonin Bough<\/a>\u00a0tells Beet.TV in this video interview.<\/p>\n But many marketers are using data nowadays to inform campaigns. Bough recommends using not just third-party data sources: “It\u2019s one thing to have exchanges \u2026 it\u2019s another thing to be a data player when you go in to those exchanges.\u00a0That\u2019s what we see as the big unlock for our future.”<\/p>\n “We have a lot of insights\u2026 the continuing growth of data in broadcast or TV is exciting – we know we\u2019ll be able to unlock greater value.\u00a0The greater granularity we can have \u2026 the better it is for us.<\/p>\n
