COLOGNE — Despite all the changes and uncertainty in the ad industry in the last decade, Havas CEO <\/span>Yannick Bollor\u00e9<\/span><\/a> observes that his company is seeing a great deal of momentum. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI think we have the combination of a good strategy \u2026 and the right people in the right place,\u201d he says. <\/span>Bollor\u00e9 was interviewed by Beet.TV earlier this month at the DMEXCO conference.<\/span><\/p>\n

In its <\/span>recent earnings report<\/span><\/a>, Havas reported that revenue was up 19.2 percent in the first half of the year over the same period in 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bollor\u00e9 also observes that the shift in how media is consumed is visible just about anywhere you go. He recently took a two-week vacation with his daughters, and the large TV set in their living room wasn\u2019t turned on once. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt was never on, never. But at the same time, they have never watched [so much] content. So you can see that people are watching content but in a different way, so the TV landscape needs to adapt,\u201d he says. <\/span><\/p>\n

He also observes that ad agencies should be agents of change that help clients navigate these challenges:\u00a0<\/span>\u201cIt\u2019s a quite interesting place today to be seated at an advertising agency because you can see the world changing and you\u2019re a key actor.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
