Mediaocean today announced<\/a> a change in by its private equity shareholders. The the Vista Partners’ majority\u00a0 stake in the company\u00a0 has been acquired by two PE firms: \u00a0<\/span>CVC Capital Partners <\/span><\/a>\u00a0along with <\/span>TA Associates<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The value of the transaction has not been disclosed.<\/p>\n

We spoke with Mediaocean CEO Bill Wise about the new investors.\u00a0 He explains it\u00a0 as a natural\u00a0 cycle in private equity where Vista held ownership for over six years. Vista made its investment<\/a> in Mediaocean in 2015.<\/p>\n

With the new ownership, the path ahead means “aggressive” via organic growth acquisitions.<\/p>\n

TA is the the firm that owned Flashtalking, which Mediaocean acquired for $500 million<\/a>\u00a0 earlier this year.\u00a0 Today, that deal closed.\u00a0 \u00a0CVC is Europe’s largest private equity firm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
